Welcome to Radio Chelsea and Westminster. We are a community radio station for the patients and staff at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London SW10. Founded at the original Westminster Hospital on this site in the late 1970's, we continue to provide full service music and news programming 24 hours a day via local intranet and on Patientline Channel 6.
Our striking purpose-built retro design studio is on the second floor of the hospital, from where a large team of talented volunteer presenters broadcast original radio shows and visit patients at their bedside each day. We offer professional level technical training and support to all our staff who in return freely offer their time to our listeners, generating a much needed feel-good factor which is proven to speed up the healing process. No previous radio experience is necessary, just a good heart, commitment and a smile.
